Why I Am Running for the State Senate

Welcome! As a native-Atlantan, it would be my distinct honor and sincere privilege to serve the families of Atlanta, Fairburn, Palmetto, Sandy Springs, South Fulton, and Union City in Fulton County. As your next Georgia Senator from District 38, I commit to working tirelessly to support the constituents of District 38 and the people of the State of Georgia.

Georgians deserve to live in a state where everyone has the opportunity to not only survive, but thrive.

As a lifelong Georgian, former public school teacher, servant leader, and community advocate, I’ve seen how decisions that are made at the Gold Dome influence our everyday lives. We cannot continue to sit idly by while decisions are made on our behalf. 

 

From Tuxedo Park to the SWATS, from Riverwood to Creekside, we deserve to have a State Senator that will  fight for an improved transportation infrastructure, access to affordable healthcare for all, an effective public education system, and an inclusive, welcoming state that is equitable for all.
